We were the first in Saint John. We are also the largest and most experienced. In Long: CrossFit is a community-based fitness program that can get you into the best shape of your life. It takes the best of all forms of exercising and combines them into high-intensity workouts. Weightlifting, gymnastics movements, body weight exercises and endurance (such as running and rowing) are all included in our programming. Everything is done in a coached environment, which helps keep things safe, motivating, and competitive. All of the workouts can be scaled to your own ability which means the beginners are challenged as much as the advanced athletes. The Kickstart Program replaces our previous Fundamentals Program. Kickstart is a 3 week training program, held 2 times a week, where we coach you through 18 movements/exercises which are key to our fitness program. We prioritize safety and want to be sure you are comfortable with what is being taught. These sessions provide a controlled environment where you can build your confidence with movements. We take this time seriously because we want to get to know you and determine what your goals are, and answer any questions you may have. Who needs to take it? Lite Members This membership allows all users to have unlimited classes, however they will not be doing exercises that include the weight bars or pullup rig. Simply put, our Lite Members will be doing the same WODs as Ultimate Members with some modifications in the movements. Ultimate Members Ultimate Members must go through the Kickstart Program to be trained on proper form while using the weight bars. Once they are finished the Kickstart Program our Ultimate Members have access to the unlimited classes. Lite Members and Ultimate Members are in the same classes with each other.
