I hope you took a moment and watched some of the CrossFit Games live. It was facinating to watch the athletes rip it up. Gave me some new ideas for WODs along with some nightmares.


For Time:

  • 10 Clean and Jerks (135/95)
  • 5 Rounds of Cindy (5 Pull ups, 10 Push ups, 15 Squats)
  • 10 Clean and Jerks
  • 5 Rounds of Cindy
  • 10 Clean and Jerks

    I like the new pushup standard we used from the 2010 games today!

    Butterflies are coming along – first time using them in a WOD!!

    Pushup standard not easy. Lacking flexibility to get both arms off the ground at the same time when I’m done there. Was pealing palms off.

  7. 13:04, tied Mike to the second. Tough workout to say the least, you can tell when Monday rolls around.

  8. I loved this one. Tough but fun. I started with the 95 but quickly realized I had move down in weigh.27:?? Completed with 75 lbs

  9. I felt like I was going to lose it right after this workout. Started @ 115 for 5 reps, then down to 105 for the rest of the first set of clean and jerks, as well as the entire second. The third was done @ 95lbs.

    I used the number 2 band for pull ups in Cindy rounds 1-5, and the number 3 in rounds 6-10.

    My time was 30:40ish – which is just terrible, but the workout was still a lot of fun.

  10. Everyone did great today. This was a tough grinder…and you all came and worked it hard.

    Nick, you are way to hard on yourself. Just coming off a broken hand and you are already banging out pull up and push ups without hesitation…two weeks ago you were barely able to do either…great way to gut it out.

    We will be introducing some new standards as we go. You all did great with the small upgrade to the push ups.

    I did this at 5pm with the crew. After fixing the technical difficulties with the clock I got it done.
    13:04min as Rx’d. It’s been way to long since I hit a WOD…felt good to be back at it.

    loved this workout for some odd reason. happy i was able to do this rx’d with no problem
