Mobility Work

We did this one February 12th and June 23 if you want to compare scores.

The 7000/5000 Pound WOD from the Rocky Mountain Qualifier

For Men, they must lift a barbell Ground to Overhead, in any way they wish, for 7000lbs.
 
The athletes are able to choose which weight they would like. Their options:

  • 155 x 46 reps
  • 135 x 52 reps
  • 115 x 61 reps
  •  105 x 67 reps
  • 95 x 74 reps
  • 75 x 94 reps

For Women, they must lift a barbell Ground to Overhead, in any way they wish, 5000lbs.
 
For the women, their choices break down to the following:

  • 100 x 50 reps
  • 85 x 59 reps
  • 75 x 67 reps
  • 65 x 77 reps
  • 55 x 91 reps

  3. Did a modified workout! 7000 lb back squat and 7000 lb deadlift for time! Used 135 for the squat and 225 for the deads ! Time was 6: 14 ! And had to do 25 tire flips bc I’m gettin older

    My wod was 10:10 I think with 65lbs

    Mike help me with some bracing exercises afterwards. I need to work on that badly.

    Work: 115×5

    WOD @ 105lbs: 8:43
    Feb 12, 2010 WOD @ 95lbs: 14:03

    So that’s a 5:20 improvement WITH +10lbs!!!! BOOYA!

    For the nutrition challenge I did pullups for a benchmark: 14 dead hangers

  11. Strength and form (2 steps forward 1 step back):
    deadlift 185×5, 165×5
    Press 70×5 65×5

    Wod 13:19 @ 95lbs. I did something loosely resembling a muscle snatch. Sad that I didn’t hit sub 10, but over all fairly satisfied.
