15 Thrusters (95, 65)
15 Toe to Bars
15 Ring Dips

We are going to start adding an extra bit of work for those who identify a desire to compete in the upcoming games. Time to suck it up and start some training people. This is not mandatory and intended for potential competitors.

  1. Tough Monday workout today!

    WOD 25:07. Had to scale the last set of 15 ring dips for 30 bench dips as form on the ring dips was less than spectacular. (i.e. it suked)

    Look forward to seeing MJ’s plan on up scaling WODS for those who are planning on going to competitions.

    • Great job Ray…. Always a great effort. I’ll be trying to draw from your demonstration when i do this tonight.

  3. This was NOT a fun workout! Struggled through at 30:20? Switched from 65lb to 55lb after the first round, did knees to chest & box dips.
    Big thanks to Amy who put up with my dirty looks and whining and pushed me through even though I REALLY wanted to give up after 3 rounds!

    Strength to start: 1RM Bench Press: 235lbs (pr! Up from 225) This was not an optimal day for bench press with this wod. Shoulders payed dearly during the workout.

    WOD: 22:46. Crazy one to start the week, great job to the evening crew!

    I subbed ring dips for ring pushups off the floor – was down to singles in the last round at times. Good WOD!
