We will be having multiple sessions this date.

6am, 12pm, and 5pm.

Front Squat
5×3 reps or 5RM
then
As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
7 Thrusters 95#/65#
30 Double Unders

We are very exicted for a new year of crushing goals and setting new ones.

  1. Amy made me do this with 15 double unders per round. I managed 3 rounds + 4 thrusters @ 65lbs with 0 double unders strung together.

    Even though my legs were still sore from the front squats on Wednesday, the Thrusters were the easy part.

  2. This would have been interesting at 7 thrusters, instead it looks like everyone did 15.

    I went in expecting the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised with 4 rounds + 7 thrusters as rx’d. Nothing worse than finishing a good string of double unders only to realize that you’ve got to go back to thrusters.

    I think a Fran is in order.

  3. did 5 rounds + 12 reps, used the 45 lb bar to continue working on full depth on squats, did 3:1 skipping for first round then did the 15 double unders as well, lol did manage to do one round with all doubles! the other 3 rounds were with 0 strung together… HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
