    This one will light your legs on fire!
    DL’s were all unbroken and squats were broken up all over the place. Push presses were tougher than expected and I caught myself in a couple push jerks near the end. Oops.
    Wedesday DOMS should be delightful. ;o)

  7. 1x Wendler Squat First – Because we were running late I started the WOD 10 minutes after everybody else.

    WOD: 14:39? DL @ 190, PP @ 100. I had hopes of hitting 10 minutes, but between the wendler squats, deadlifting, and air squats there was nothing left to drive the push press.

  8. Ugh. Have to stop compairing to everone else… I’m just not that strong yet.

    WOD = 20:03 (DL-100, PP-65, then droped to 60 for 9s)

    100 DL doesn’t seem that heavy, BUT considering I struggled with 60 when I first started, I’m pretty happy. My squats have come a FAR way since I started! I have to work on my speed though.

    It is nice to have such a big crowd for 5 o’clock these days! =)

  11. That was way cool guys…had fun with this different version Amy gave me:
    21:15:9 of each deadlift 50lbs;squats;pushpress 10lb each arm..8:41 time..gotta start somewhere…as long as I sweat…lol

  12. Workout today was a good one. I am mighty happy with result as upped the weight by 10lb on DL and press for this. I also kept my form for the most part. Legs were a little shaky at the end. Now to practice quicker squat technique to improve time.

    WOD: 25:55 – DL -190lb; push press – 90lb
    Thanks for the encouragement everyone the last presses were tough going

  14. Still feel I need to make harder decisions at the start. 160 DL and 70 PP in 18.13 I think but i wish I had gone higher on both weights. Maybe 185 and 90 next time.
