  1. Wow, tough workout(s).

    Tabata pistols: 4-4-4-5-4-4-4-6
I need to work on keeping my weight on my heel a little more, as it’s way to easy to let things come foreward.

WOD – 21:57 as rx’d – dropping 15-20 lbs would help this greatly.

  2. Congratulations to Jenn for her first workout with 100 full (band free) kipping pull-ups!

    • Wow….that’s fantastic Jenn! That’s a great accomplishment!

  3. Ya it was a crazy workout, Jenn did amazing!!!

The running really really sucked, using rings 27:08

  4. Great work, Jenn! 🙂

    TAbata pistols with pole: 5-5-4-3-3-3-2-2
The pistols resulted in beginning my workout with the statement, “My legs feel like jelly”, which clearly didn’t bode well for the ten rounds of running to follow, but I finished.

30:27 for the workout with ring rows.

  5. Thanks for all the encouragement guys!!! I didnt think I could do it but the rings were taken so I didnt have much choice lol I feel good about it now that its over!!! No tares either!! the hand tapeing in the video works!

    WOD: 27:05 Rx’d 😀

Pistols ranged from 3-5/round unassisted. Left leg is way weaker than my right.

  6. PS: we’re bringing in the 50/50 $$$ tonight

  7. Jenn…could look at it 2 ways, awesome…AWESOME work this morning on the pullups, great achievement!

the other way to look at it is that you officially won’t be using bands any more! Oh happy day! Baaaam!

  8. Part A – Tabata Pistols: 7-7-7-7-6-6-6-6 = 52 (unassisted)

    Part B – WOD: 19:03 Rx’d

  9. WOD – 18:27 Rx’d

Had to make a quick pit stop for hand repair at round eight, thanks Mike!

  10. Good one today. I never kept my exact time but it was I believe 20 min and a bit of change… 35 on the pistols using the pole. Great work all!!!

I envy those who can do the pullups as RX’d… I can’t wait to join that group 🙂

  11. WOD – 19:44 with ring rows

Quite pleased with my performance today… first 4 or 5 runs felt pretty good. Though by the last couple I was sure I was going to puke haha, but I made it through!

I don’t even want to talk about the pistols… my quads are still way too tight from Cindy on Saturday for that!

  12. Pistols: No idea, very few, tried to do them unassisted and have some balance issues to deal with.
WOD: 17:42 as rx’d. Liked this one more than I had expected.

  13. Pistols – 5-5-5-5-4-4-4-3 – my knees do like these – used pole – balance is getting better
I had pistol envy due to our two visitors from Arizona – Garrett and ___ , sorry cant remember his name – they made it look so easy. To be 17 again…
They were both on the second round before Doris and myself finshed the first 200.

WOD – 25:53 did ring pulls
Running is coming along – I agree with Ryan – running sucks!!!

  14. Pistols – 8-8-8-8-6-6-8-8 used pole dunno how I got so many out but I did them after the wod and had a real hard time catching my breath afterwards.

WOD – 18:29 Rowing instead of running and ring rows Felt good but a little sore now..

  15. OMG..thought I had it made…did 1000 m row in 2:41….NOT,,,rested at 500 M for about 3 breaths and we figured it must have reset…I think Mike would have put me on the Dragon Boat..hips or no hips..lol..so did it in about 5min…100 ring rows…total time was 12:38..Funny thing with these WOD’s is that 15 minutes later your brain starts whispering that you can do more…those young guys were awsome…yikes
