21 – 18 – 15 – 12 – 9 – 6 -3 (Scale is 21-15-9)

  • Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (95/65)
  • Burpees

  1. I have discovered I like Sumo Deadlift high pulls, but I need to work on my Handstand Holds.

    Didn’t get to Rx but I am getting closer with 80.

  2. Shoulders were on fire by the end of the tabata handstands….we lost track of rounds this morning and I think we did more than 8 because this was harder than last time, always fun though 🙂

    I didn’t stay in a handstand frequently enough for my shoulders to die from the tabata. I think I only had 2 quality holds, other times I’d bounce off of the wall, or my left arm would bend, or I’d under power it so that I couldn’t bounce off of the wall.

    Eating a late morning snack was a bad idea before handstands and burpee’s! Very close to losing it during burpee’s. Good Times. ;o)

    SDHP with 40 lb but I could have done it with a heavier weight.

    Tabata handstand holds much better this time: managed to do all bar the one where a crashed down into the bar stand.

  9. First WOD with burpees… Really not sure how I managed to avoid them for so long, just luck I guess! 18:07 with just the bar, which was way too light as it turned out, but I wasn’t complaining after the burpees. Handstands are still a ways off.

  11. Handstands went much better than last time, though the last one would have been much easier without my shirt going over my face – used the office ledge for these.

    WOD 16:54 – 80lbs

    21-18-15 went ok – 12-9 lost momentum and 6-3 were just terrible in form – what can you say about burpees that has not been said before

    This actually felt really good! Would have felt better if I’d had my Skins tights Mike… Just saying!
