  1. So I’m totally coming for the 6 o’clock b/c I would like to have people to work out with this week ๐Ÿ˜›

  2. Maddy and I were both bummed about missing yesterday’s workout, so we did it this morning instead.

    Snatch:

    70×2, 90×2, 110×2, 120×2, 125×1 + F, 125×1 + F, 125×2

I know that’s more than 5 attempts, but succeeding on rep 1 at 125 felt so easy both times.

    Push Press:

    70×3, 90×3, 110×3, 125×3, 140xF, 140xF, 130xF

I know I’ve had 145 up on the push press before, so this was kind of sad. The fact that I have shoulder pain with any overhead pressing movement (even at the lighter weights) is cause for concern – considering physio in the near future.

  3. Awww another team WOD I’m gonna miss ๐Ÿ™
And I’m a no-go for track day tomorrow… have a day full of hiking, horseback riding and canoeing planned! Still kind of disappointed I’m missing it though! How crazy am I?? hahaha!

    Have a great weekend everyone!!

  4. I went in with the intention to do some heavy Squats and Chinups but got sucked into the Team WOD. Who am I kidding, though? Team days are ALWAYS a blast and really, I couldn’t resisit!

    Me + Tracy + Sue T. + Wayne = 21:28

As for my contribution to Team Awesome:
70 Pullups (PR’d my butterflies with 25 unbroken…watch out Angie!!!)
55 Kettlebell Swings (may have been 50..can’t remember)
50 Double Unders (had a lot of trouble with these today…)
    55 Overhead Squats (mmmmmm…..overhead squats!)
    ———————–
    225 or 230 reps Rx’d+ (used the 60lb KB)

This means I did not pull my own weight though (supposed to be 250 reps each) so I’m not please about that.

Can’t wait for the track tomorrow!! Hopefully we’ll have lots come out at noon!!! NOT 10am

  5. Team More Awesome (Scott, Chris, Steve, Alexis) = 17:59, but we had to replace front squats for OHS except Alexis who was a champ and did OHS.

  6. wow! great job everyone! wish i could have been there today. Helping my son out at harbour station!

  7. Aight….I’m checking out for a week. See you peeps next Monday, have fun at the track tomorrow (I super heart track wods!) and have a good week! Laaaaaaateeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!

ps…MJ I’m sleeping in next week!!!

  8. Ooh, sleeping in – kind of like what Mike did today!

Great job evening combined 5:00 and 6:00 crews!

  9. WOW!!! great job red team 21:29..I was pooped..let’s do it again..lol…must be crazy…never thought I would be able to do that much skipping…feeling it though…too gung ho…lol that was fun!!!

  10. Blue team of Beverly, Jeff, Tony and myself are feeling blue with a time 26:10
Great job everyone – I love team events – however counting individual reps and adding them together while working out is not good.
Feel bad that I was the only one who subbed front squats for OHS
As for the skipping it went well til 110-120 then toe was screaming at me.

I think late = 15 burpees would be a good fun rule ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Oh man, was our time that high? haha shows how tired I was that I didn’t even care what the number was. We all did our share though, and we finished! ๐Ÿ˜€
**AWESOME work from Tony with 90 Doubble Unders to help us along! Haha and the OHS from Nick in our time of need!
    Great work from both teams!
I started Pull Ups with #2 band, but haven’t been doing enough and had to add in a #1 to get all my reps done. KB swings were Rx’d @ 35. Hahah stuck with the single skips to get all my reps. OHS… ohhh OHS. Did them with just the bar and used my fustration to get all 62 pounded out.
    YEA for team WODs!
