  2. Tweaked my right quad at spring fling and it was making the front squats pretty hard. Opted to do G.I.Jane instead (100 Burpee Pull-ups). 13:30. Upscaled by doing 1 legged burpees. ugh.

    way to go gang, that was a monster!

  3. Good news is that I thought we had to do burpee’s everytime we put the bar down…Bad news is that we still had to do 100 thrusters!

  5. So, I’d never done thrusters before….

    Traded strength for stretching today – shoulders and right elbow needed some TLC.

    Did the scaled WOD and timed-out at 93 reps…so close, and yet so far.

    So, I’ve now done thruster…woo… 😉

  7. Surprisingly not as bad as I anticipated….used 55#…sets of ten with a few water breaks….10:41…probably should have skipped the water breaks ;).

  8. Strength- worked on squat snatches…again.

    Wod- 9:48 Rx’d. I felt like I was moving through cement today. Legs weren’t happy even before going into his one.

    Daily Squat after work (because I promised myself I would…blech).

    Loved the huge noon crew today taking this one on! Where was everyone at 4:30pm? Awesome job to Jill and Phil who took it on just the 2 of them 🙂

    Thrusters sucked!!! 100 in 12:?? at 45lbs. Felt ok for first 20 then I thought I was dying. Very glad Phil and I represented for the 430 crew lol

  11. GI Jane, 100 burpee pullups. 13:26. Loads of room to improve, but the first time I tackle a WOD like that I like to make sure I can finish! That was a tough one. Looking forward to doing it again, eventually.
