Warm Up

500 m row – PR attempt

Then

Macho Man
EMOM for as long as possible:
3 Power Cleans
+
3 Front Squats
+
3 Jerks
(185, 135#)

Scale – 135/95
Wet behind the ears – 95/65

If you complete 10 rounds, add one rep to each movement for each additional minute.
For example minute 11 would be 4 Power Cleans+ 4 Front Squats + 4 Jerks.
Minute 12 would be 5 of each, and minute 13 would be 6 of each.

  1. First WOD in a long time moving weight above my head. Tested out the new legs and back a la Dr D, things felt good. Easing my way back into it so I stopped at 3 rounds, then did a sub 4 min K run, 1 min handstand hold, 2 min plank. Great work Power Hour.

  2. Shaved 5 seconds off my 500m row – 1:50 woot!

    WOD – used 70# – perhaps I am dry behind one ear?! 🙂

    8 rounds completed – I think hand positioning and technique did me in more than anything… Gah.

  3. Shaved 1 second off my 500m row. Small PR, but I’ll take it haha.

    WOD – 8+6 at 115# This WOD was rough, but I enjoyed it!
