What is the Fundamentals Program?

The Fundamentals Program is 3 training sessions where we go over 18 movements/exercises which are key to the CrossFit program.  You will be coached and given time to practice.  We prioritize safety and want to be sure you are comfortable with what is being taught.  These sessions allow us to assess your experience, fitness level, and any previous injuries which help with your transition into the group training.  We take this time seriously because we want to get to know you, and determine what your goals are.  We also offer recommendations for nutrition.

Who needs to take it?

Every member must go through the Fundamentals Program before joining, even if you’re from another affiliate.  We need to assess your skill development to make sure we can work with you safely.  If you are joining us from another affiliate and have been a recent member there, we offer an evaluation session (1 hour) where we can confirm you have a good working knowledge of movements covered in the Fundamentals Program. Based on our assessment, we will advise if the Fundamentals Program will be needed or if you can simply join our sessions.

Once I finish it, then what?

Once this program is complete, you will be welcome to join as a member.

How do I register?

Just contact us to sign up.  Once you enter the facility we need you to know a few rules:

  1. You will need to check your ego at the door.
  2. No one is allowed to say, “I can’t!”  We know you can, and we’ll find a way to prove it.
  3. Do not underestimate your abilities.  You are stronger and more capable than you give yourself credit for.
